Michael Jackson : Homicide

LA coroner ruled today that Michael Jackson's death a homicide. This ruling was anticipated by people that follows the Michael Jackson's death. I am one of those people who expects the ruling.

I was puzzled why the family took so long to bury Michael Jackson. Is the investigation not yet finished, is that the reason for the long delayed burial? So I thought something controversial would come out.

And this is it. The LA coroners findings that there was a homicide by someone who administers the medicines that caused the death of the king of pop. An fatal dose of propofol anesthesia combined with sedatives.

Dr Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's physician, gave a statement that confirmed he had been giving Michael Jackson this medication to help with his insomnia for as long as six weeks before his death. Murray said, " each night he gave Michael Jackson 50mg of propofol, also known as Diprivan, diluted with anesthetic lidocaine via intravenous drip."

To me, that is simple careless administration of medicines that resulted in the death Michael Jackson and the doctor that should be liable for that "reckless imprudence" resulting to death. This is a clear homicide.

Or Dr Conrad Murray accidentally practiced euthanasia (mercy killing) to Michel Jackson reeking in prolonged terrible pain. This one is a wild guess.

Homicide by the way, according to wikipedia, refers to the act of killing another human being. And it is not always an illegal act, for example in case of self-defense, state sanctioned homicide like a capital punishment.
